The South Platte Water Renewal Partners hosts four major community events annually where community members are invited to visit our facility and learn about the water renewal process.

We also partner with the City of Englewood Police Department for the National Drug Take-back Event in April, the City of Littleton’s Meet, Greet and Eat events throughout the summer, and the City of Englewood’s Block Party in October.

Gas Recovery Facility Ribbon Cutting Celebration

The South Platte Water Renewal Partners (SPWRP) facility is set to unveil Colorado’s very first Gas Recovery Facility and Pipeline Injection Project. This project will be used exclusively by SPWRP to inject the natural gas recovered from its wastewater treatment process, into Xcel Energy’s natural gas pipeline. SPWRP, has worked closely with Xcel Energy, Carrollo Engineers, J.R.
