Who We Are

The South Platte Water Renewal Partners is the 3rd largest water renewal facility in Colorado and cleans nearly 24 million gallons of wastewater a day from 300,000 residents in Littleton, Englewood and 19 other connecting communities. It is publicly owned and operated by the Cities of Littleton and Englewood.

Governance

The Supervisory Committee oversees all operations of SPWRP and related matters. The Committee generally meets once per month, usually the third Thursday of the month. The Committee consists of two administrative employees from each City.

History

The sewage collection system and treatment facilities for the cities of Englewood and Littleton developed separately, but in a similar manner. The collection system follows the natural drainage pattern in the area that leads to the South Platte River.
